Final weekend

Tomorrow I'm back to Wales for the festive season, so last night was the final Saturday Duckie of 2008.
After getting quite jaded with it earlier on in the year I am pleased that the last few months have resurrected my love for it.

It was a busy night not too full, but again there was a tendency for the punter to bunch up in the bar area. Last night I stuck with the gin, as a result this mornings hangover was not to severe.

Two acts - the first some of the team formerly known as The Society of Wonders who have entertained us in the past with their rather dark take on the Nativity myths. Last night with the aid of an Overhead Projector we had the tale of Fly Boy and the planet of the Haunted Snowmen, with a warning about the dangers of meteors and global warming. The second was Marcus in his Singing Christmas Tree outfit, I think he should conflate this with his Sister Wendy act.

Music was good, left in high spirits having agreed to go to Bexhill on Sea in February, and slept through to 9.30
